Mallory McMorrow ends her U.S. Senate campaign

State Sen. Mallory McMorrow dropped out of Michigan's competitive U.S. Senate race Sunday afternoon. She informed multiple supporters of her decision earlier on Sunday, according to two sources with knowledge of the development who were not authorized to speak publicly about it. McMorrow's departure makes it a two-way race in the Democratic primary between U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens and former Wayne County health chief Abdul El-Sayed.
