Le Pen’s Party Searches Europe for Loans After French Banks Balk

Four years after traveling to Hungary to negotiate a campaign loan for Marine Le Pen , her party’s treasurer is once again searching across Europe for financing. Despite topping polls for France’s 2027 presidential election and positioning itself as a government-in-waiting, the far-right National Rally has yet to secure a single French lender for the €10.7 million ($12.6 million) it wants to borrow.
