Foreign Minister Sa'ar: "40 countries have declared the IRGC as a terrorist organization. This is an amazing figure that comes as a direct result of our effort" Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar spoke shortly ago at the opening of the discussion held at the Foreign Ministry of the Subcommittee on Foreign Policy and Hasbara. From Minister Sa'ar's remarks: "The roar of the lion is a campaign with extraordinary military achievements and it is also a political campaign with dramatic achievements. Throughout the past year against the Iranian enemy, the achievements have been far-reaching. The Iranian regime has shifted from a dangerous power that cast its shadow over the country to a weakened state militarily and politically. Only a year ago the regime was in a completely different place, but then the world treated it as an Israeli problem. That is not the case today. Throughout the region and the world, the danger is understood, and we have allies who will stand with us to prevent this regime from endangering us and others. I want to give one amazing figure: 40 countries have declared the Iranian Revolutionary Guards a terrorist organization in the past year. This is an amazing figure that comes as a direct result of our effort and proper work. The Revolutionary Guards are the Iranian regime, period. More countries will join in the coming days, and this is a tremendous political success. In the campaign for awareness, we present the dangers—the missile fire on the countries of the region and its significance, on the Gulf countries, on Azerbaijan, on Cyprus, the regime’s lack of restraints today is clearer than ever and clear to everyone since it does this without nuclear weapons. Imagine what would happen if it had a nuclear umbrella. How would it act then? This pushes—and I am convinced it will push—to strengthen alliances with countries in the region. The missile fire over the weekend on the American base in Diego Garcia illustrates two things: 1. The missile range reaches all of Europe. 2. The stories the regime told about missile range are completely false. Throughout the region, in Europe, and the entire Western world, it is understood that the Iranian regime endangers the entire region, the entire Western civilization, that it is imperative to prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons, that it must be prevented from having a wide arsenal of long-range missiles, and that the octopus of terrorist states it has built in the Middle East must be crushed."
