Over 800 Strike Sorties and 16,000 Munitions: IDF Data from Operation Roaring Lion Thus Far: To date, more than 800 strike sorties have been carried out by the Israeli Air Force using approximately 16,000 different munitions. It can now be disclosed that, following an extensive identification and planning effort led by IDF intelligence and the Israeli Air Force after Operation Rising Lion, more than 5,000 new targets were identified, including thousands of terror components that were subsequently struck during Operation Roaring Lion. In parallel to the strikes in Iran, the IDF, led by the Operations Directorate, is conducting a multi-front operation, within which approximately 7,000 targets have been struck across all fronts of operation.
